Masakari Plaza (Mutsu, Shimokita Kanko Bussan Bldg.) has a souvenir shop on the 1st floor, restaurant on the 2nd floor, and a conference room on the 3rd floor.
Kasamaikan opened in April 2006 adjacent to the Kasamai-bashi Street ("kasamai" means "come visit," in the local dialect). It has a hall and conference room and exhibits floats used for the Tanabu Festival on the 1st floor, and an exhibition on themes such as nature, history, oceanic science, and tourist attractions using various films and panels on the 2nd floor.

This science museum opened in 1996 and is a reproduction of the nuclear ship Mutsu that floats on the sea of Sekinehama facing the Tsugaru Channel. Visitors can experience the wonders of nature and science based on the theme of "Earth’s environment and science & technology."
There is a memorial section that introduces the history of nuclear ships Mutsu, including an exhibition of a nuclear reactor. There are also displays of an artificial tornado and mist, helicopter simulation game, fishing game, plus many more to let visitors enjoy the wonders of science. MAP
